Joan McClendon is a walking, talking testimony of the grace of God. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Joan grew up in a family of challenges, successes, and by her own admission, a level of dysfunction.  Dealing with alcoholism in the backdrop of a blossoming high school track career came with its own level of stress, but her world began to open up when she attended college and then visited Minneapolis, MN where a woman introduced her to Jesus, and life changed almost overnight. Joan now is the co-author of a book that is transforming the lives of women and has now been translated into multiple languages.  She also is the Project Director of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative which is headquartered at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN.
