David Mui came to South Bend 4 years ago, originally from Marion, Indiana.  David was raised in the Baha’i faith, his dad immigrated from China, and his mother from Indiana.  David grew up having compassion for other, but he recalls realizing there was a barrier between him and other children due to his faith.  As a young man David enjoyed debating with Christian tooth and nail about their faith and he even found joy watching them fail in their faith.  David recalls a time in his life when he struggled with drugs and alcohol, David always felt like there was something missing from his life.  David’s life changed when he had a very real encounter with God.  One night while partying David overdosed on drugs, and when he awoke he started on a journey that would alter the course of his life.  Please join HisStoires and David to find out how God saved him through the darkness and despair.
